Mark Hertzberger

Hertzberger HR Consulting is dedicated to assisting Ontario employers to create respectful workplaces that are free of conflict, harassment and bullying and are characterized by respect, cooperation, and effective teamwork.

Mark Hertzberger has over 20 years of Human Resources experience and has provided services to municipalities, school boards, non-profit community agencies, private manufacturers, restaurants, hospitals, financial institutions, and the pharmaceutical industry. His areas of expertise include workplace communication, interpersonal conduct, team functioning, harassment investigation/prevention, performance management, leadership development, and policy research and development.

Mark has designed and delivered workshops for management and staff on these topics and has conducted workplace harassment investigations and workplace assessments for a wide variety of organizations. In addition, he has provided conflict mediation services as well as team facilitation, coaching and planning services to assist managers in addressing performance and interpersonal issues among their employees. 

Mark has obtained Human Resources Management Certificate from the University of Guelph as well as a BA in psychology from the University of Waterloo. He is a member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Institute of Ontario, the Stratford and District Chamber of Commerce, and the Human Resources Professionals Association of Ontario, Grand Valley Chapter.
